Grant Fisher, MA, NCC
Grant Fisher is a national certified counselor (NCC) and a pre-licensed therapist in the state of Pennsylvania working under the supervision of Dr. Chen. He obtained his Master’s degree in counseling at Geneva College, PA. He has experience providing individual therapy with children, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population. His academic path and experience has taught him the skills needed to perform evidence based practices and to ensure his clients are gaining insights, tools, and strategies needed to find life fulfillment and relationship satisfaction. Grant provides therapeutic interventions for a variety of mental health diagnoses, including, but not limited to depression, anxiety, marital stress, relationship issues, addiction disorder, trauma, stress, and grief. He is a clinician that provides a person centered, solution focused approach. He utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches that include Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, motivation interviewing, trauma informed care, and positive approaches that is personalized to meet the clients current needs. When providing couples / marital therapy he uses techniques and interventions from John Gottman's work and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which are both researched based approaches. Incorporation of a Christian framework in therapy is available upon request. Grant accepts Highmark, Cigna, and Aetna.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, going to car shows and cruises, attending concerts and live events, learning, traveling, and helping others. He also loves animals and has two cats and a dog.
