Emily Hulse, LPC
Emily Hulse is a License Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Science and Human Services from Clarion University. After gaining insightful and valuable work experience in the mental health field she went on to obtain her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Waynesburg University. Emily is currently in the process of obtaining her certification to become a Registered Play Therapist. She is also in the process of obtaining her TF- CBT certification. Emily has experience in providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. She sees clients of all ages. She has worked in various setting including a Christian counseling center and a school based therapy practice where she has been able to gain valuable experience in providing individual therapy to children from Kindergarten to 12th grade. She has worked at community based mental health services and provided mobile therapy services for children from ages 5 to 12th grade. Emily offers group therapy services to children ages 3 to 12 years of age. She provides therapeutic interventions for a variety of mental health diagnosis, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, martial stress, autism spectrum disorder, trauma, grief and loss, and disruptive mood dysregulation disorder. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches including Child Center play therapy, Adlerian play therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma informed care, and positive approaches that is personalized to meet the clients’ current needs. Incorporation of Christian Counseling is available upon request.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her two children. Emily enjoys swimming, crafting, reading, listening to music and traveling to new places.
